How membership benefits work
Membership is subject to SOT approval, orientation and verified payment. Prices cover one 30-day period; there is no automatic billing or renewal. Included studio hours may be used across recording, podcast and film spaces, one reserved room at a time, with a two-hour session minimum. Equipment access, studio time, team support and discounted bookings are first come, first served through scheduling, subject to availability and SOT approval. Membership does not guarantee a particular time slot, equipment item or event place. Request equipment when scheduling your session; SOT confirms the equipment and any eligible discount before the reservation is finalized. All room, equipment and team use requires reservation and approval within the active period; no walk-in, overnight or unsupervised access is granted. Setup and cleanup count toward reserved time. Included hours expire at period end and do not roll over or have cash value. Additional room time receives the stated discount; extra team time and specialty equipment are quoted separately. Equipment stays on site and requires orientation; exact availability is confirmed before each session. Team support is time-based, not unlimited editing or guaranteed finished deliverables. Event discounts apply only to eligible SOT-produced ticketed events, subject to availability and cannot be combined. Project opportunities are selected by fit, readiness, availability and client approval; membership does not guarantee paid work, placement, credits or promotion. Compensation, credits and deliverables are agreed for each project. Contact SOT for cancellation or refund review; refunds are handled outside this app. Existing confirmed reservations are reviewed individually if membership is suspended.
Discounted event places are first come, first served through the event’s booking or registration process, subject to availability. Event discounts are verified and applied by SOT; they are not automatically connected to an external ticketing platform. Applying for a project role does not guarantee selection or compensation. Each production has its own agreed terms.

Before your

Can studios be booked at the same time?+
Yes. Each studio has its own availability. A shared engineer cannot be double-booked. Pending requests do not reserve time.
Is an engineer or camera crew included?+
No. An audio engineer is an optional hourly add-on. Videography, photography, podcast production and editing are scoped and quoted separately.
How do overnight sessions work?+
Choose the evening date. Monday through Saturday sessions run from 5 PM until 3 AM the next morning. Studio rentals have a two-hour minimum.
Does a production request reserve the studio?+
No. Your requested date is a preference. Any studio time must be included and reserved by SOT or booked separately before production is confirmed.
Where did meeting scheduling go?+
Introductory meetings, conference-room reservations and consultations are now in SOT Workforce under Scheduling. Existing records remain available here.
Booking terms+
All bookings require SOT approval. No payment is taken when you submit. For paid services, a deposit is due after approval within 24 hours or before your session, whichever comes first; your booking shows the exact deposit amount. The balance is due before the session begins. Quote-only services require your acceptance of the quote before payment. Setup and cleanup are part of your reserved time. Request cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours before your start time; SOT reviews refunds or credits manually. Late changes are reviewed individually. Equipment, crew and deliverables must be agreed before payment.
